Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters, especially when it comes to your family. Mama & Baby Bites, made by Culman Brothers LLC, is built so that your information stays on your phone. This policy explains what the app stores, what it sends, and the choices you have.

No accounts, no tracking

You don't need an account to use Mama & Baby Bites. We don't sell your information, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.

What stays on your phone

The details you enter are saved only on your device, in the app's own storage. We don't receive them. This includes:

• Your baby's name, birth date and due date
• How you're feeding, foods your household avoids, and your cooking time
• Your food log, allergen tracker, favorites, meal plan, freezer list, shopping list and calendar
• Your reminder settings and whether you agreed to use the Ask chat

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled on your phone. They never include your baby's name, and you can turn them off at any time in the app or in your phone's settings.

If you add the app's widget to your Home Screen, it shows today's planned meals and your baby's first name. The widget reads this from the app on your phone; nothing is sent to us.

Sharing from the app

You can choose to share your shopping list, or a PDF of your food log for your pediatrician. The PDF is made on your phone and includes your baby's name, birth date, the foods you logged and any reactions or notes you added. It goes only where you send it, for example by email, AirDrop or a printer, and nothing is sent to us.

The Ask chat

The app asks for your OK before your first question. When you use the Ask tab, the questions you type and your baby's age in months are sent to our server and then to Anthropic, the company that provides the AI model, to write an answer. Your baby's name, birth date, allergies and other details aren't sent.

The app doesn't save your chat on your phone or on our server. Anthropic may keep messages for a limited time under its own policies, for example for safety. Please don't type names, contact details or other personal information into the chat.

To keep the chat fair and running, our server briefly uses your connection's IP address to limit how many questions can be sent in a short time. It isn't saved or logged.

Launch emails from our website

If you sign up on mamababybites.com to hear when the app launches, we keep your email address only to tell you about the launch. It's stored by our website host, Netlify, and we don't share it with anyone else or use it for ads. To have it deleted, email support@mamababybites.com.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple on iPhone and by Google on Android. We don't see or store your payment details. The store tells the app whether you have an active subscription.

Children

The app is meant for parents and caregivers, not for children to use. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Deleting your information

Because your information lives on your phone, you're in control. Deleting the app removes everything it stored. You can also change your details at any time in Settings.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we'll update this policy and tell you in the app before the change applies.
